APPALOOSA
has established itself as the Bay Area's #1 LIVE music phenomenon.
The success of the band has been mind-blowing. In the past months
alone, APPALOOSA has shared the stage with numerous legendary musicians
and opened for such dynamite acts as Trace Adkins, Chris Cagle, Darryl
Worley, Emerson Drive, Mark Chestnut, Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, and many
others. Our illustrious bandleader, Polo Jones, went into the
studio to play bass with European sensation Zucchero, and the CD is now
onsale exclusively at Starbucks, featuring many of Zucchero's American
fans such as Sheryl Crow, B.B. King, John Lee Hooker, Macy Gray, Luciano
Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, and more. The DVD of the LIVE
concert at Royal Albert Hall in London is available at Amazon.com.
Lead Vocalist Jewels Hanson landed a publishing deal in Nashville with
renowned publisher Larga Vista Music and has been splitting her time
between Nashville and California writing future hits and promoting her
independently released debut CD "Be A Lady". Keyboardist
Danny B continues to wow Bay Area blues audiences as the musical director
for Bay Area Blues Legend Sista Monika and reaching unprecedented success
with his newly released jazz piano cd. Hot on the trail is the
smokin' new blues CD from our guitarist Terry Hiatt in his blues gumbo
fusion project. You can buy Jewels, Danny B, and Terry's cd's
through cdbaby.com. Support your local musicians! Our rock
star drummer, Brian Loftus, is moving on from the band at the end of
August to pursue an original project in Colorado, and will no doubt
continue his success in that arena. We'll miss him, for sure, but
don't worry, we'll keep you posted on how he's doing, and where you can
hear him play next as well. We'll also introduce you to our new
drummer real soon, and we hope you will welcome him with open arms, just
like you did the rest of us! All of this, and in the meantime, still
kicking the snot out of audiences at the Saddle Rack Thursday thru
Saturday nights. Lots of new music and concerts coming up, so be
sure to stick around and join us for all the fun!
Check out
the new Country Western Apparel website THECOYOTEJUNCTION.COM , developed
by a close friend of the band, and featuring Jewels and Saddle Rack
cocktail waitress Jen Baker as the site's models!

Experience
the fun, frenzy, and excitement that is APPALOOSA. Nightly stage
shows have been wow'ing Bay Area audiences since APPALOOSA launched it's
show for the Grand re-opening of The Saddle Rack in Fremont, CA in early
2003. APPALOOSA has been in the studio recording their debut
album, as well as performing 4 nights a week as the house band at
"The Rack". New, exciting stage shows keep listeners on
their toes, and bring in audiences from all ends of the musical
spectrum. Performing music from Patsy Cline to Bobby Brown, with
original honky-tonkin' tunes mixed in, one thing is for sure... This ain't
your daddy's country band.
2005 has a lot in store as APPALOOSA will be sharing the stage with more
national acts, as well as putting on continuing incredible stage shows for The
Saddle Rack including more back-up dancers, more dancing on the bar, &
more great music. Pushing the boundaries, and
changing the face of LIVE music in the bay area, APPALOOSA is on
fire. Catch the fun Wednesday through Saturday nights at the Saddle
Rack.
