Biography - BRIAN LOFTUS
Brian’s career began in Middletown Connecticut where his passion for music was encouraged and supported by his family from a very young age. Through the public school system, private study and the Berklee College of Music, Brian developed his skills and moved to the central coast of California in 1989.
With his contemporary feel and his attention to the details, Brian has proven to be consistently one of the busiest and most demanded players around the central coast. His influences range dramatically so he has been seen and heard in many different genres of music. Some of the Artists that Brian has performed with are; John lee Hooker, Joan Baez, Babatunde Olatunji, The Gatlin Brothers, The Lettermen, Nicolette Larson, Huey Lewis, Glen Frey, Elvin Bishop, Greg Kihn, Frankie Ford, Zulu Spear and more. He also has performed locally with Sista Monica, Dennis Murphy, The Roger Eddy Band and countless other local icons. Brian has also just wrapped up a four-year commitment with the Greg Franks Band. With Greg, he performed all over the world for major corporations such as; Hewlett-Packard, McDonald’s, Disney, ESPN, Ford Motor Company, Merck, The pebble Beach company, Owens-Corning, American-Express, General Electric, Toyota, and Honda. Brian has entertained thousands of people and has gained a reputation for being a first call musician .
Currently Brian can be seen with one of California’s hottest bands Appaloosa. They perform weekly at the world famous Saddle Rack nightclub in Fremont California.
